Thank you for applying for a subsidised desexing voucher for a community cat. As a not-for-profit organisation, Animal Welfare League NSW uses donated funds to help desex animals for those who otherwise could not afford to desex their dogs and cats, as well as community cats.
Desexing an animal is important for the health of your pet. It also helps to prevent unwanted litters that contribute to the pet overpopulation problem, and sadly dog and cat euthanasia in pounds in Australia. For more information about the benefits of desexing, click here.
If you require financial assistance for subsidised desexing of a community cat, the steps to get a desexing voucher are below.
- Complete this form to request a desexing voucher.
- We will send you an email response with the voucher if it's been approved.
- You must contact the vet as soon as possible to book in the desexing appointment for a date prior to the expiry date. Some vet clinics book out well in advance so you must contact the vet straight away to book in the appointment.
ELIGIBILITY
- For cats 6+ months old only
- Cats must be fed and cared for. You must not desex and release a cat that is not subsequently being looked after.
- You must be pre-approved by this branch and given the link to this form directly from the branch or your requests will be automatically rejected.
This voucher cannot be used to support Rescue Groups OR animals that will subsequently be made available for adoption OR animals recently adopted from another rescue group. VOUCHERS ARE NOT TRANSFERABLE BETWEEN CUSTOMERS.
